A Surprising Read

What did you love best about Small Great Things?

I loved the way the writer gave me different perspectives on the same event and kept the story going. Other writers have done this, but as an avid reader, I liked her way better.

What other book might you compare Small Great Things to and why?

It was better than the help because it told today's story without being preachy.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I liked that the guys were guys and the ladies were ladies voices.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt very hopeful at the end and cried several different places in the book.

I was amazed at how I was completely involved with the characters - all of them.

A real mystery with enjoyable characters!

I enjoyed the mystery that unfolded and I like the way the characters were believable. I like Kate Morton's writings, but I especially like to listen to her writings. The speakers bring the characters to life.

As an avid reader, I thought I would enjoy this read, but it was a huge disappointment. It just tried to hard, and the fantasy part was just to difficult to follow. I just couldn't connect with the characters, this should have been a rough draft, not the final product. Do not recommend.

This series is enjoyable to listen to, I don't usually listen to books twice, but these I listen too all the time. I like the vocals accents.
