Best one in awhile

Book thirty and thirty-one have been my favorite books in the series since number 10 or 11. I’ve read them all, but I am happy to report that J.E. Has brought back some laugh-out-loud moments and lots of smirks! No spoilers here, bud do read book 30 before this one.

Great story for kids and adults

As an adult female reading this book, I thought the writing was clever and witty. The mystery part of it is appropriate for age 10 and up in my opinion. There were a couple “ghost” story parts that make me think a younger child could become slightly scared, but definitely not anything scary. More of a “Boo” type of scary. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

This is my first book by the author, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the mystery was “clean.” By this I mean none of the killing was overly descriptive, which can sometimes be unnerving to me. No cursing, no sex, just a good mystery. Almost a “beach read” in the form of a mystery. Easy listen.

I chose this Audible Plus title based on the story blurb, but mostly because of the reader reviews. I am joining the reviews that said this was a great short story with just enough mystery and thrill. No sex or foul language which, in my opinion, makes it okay for readers 16 and up.
