This book is one of my favourites from this author. Ms Rachel writes an engrossing story that grows from the premises that Elizabeth is not a Bennet and was kidnapped as a child. Harry Frost and Stevie Zimmerman bring to life the impact of Elizabeth's loss and recovery on the families. The audio quality and editing were excellent. I loved their performances, and they combine to make this one of my favourite audiobooks.

We meet Elizabeth as the new Mrs Collins in this tale. Her settles into life at Hunsford - a tolerable existence, albeit one that does not give her true happiness nor exercise her wit.
This story is a little uneven in tone. Sometimes it seems angsty, while other times it seems like a black comedy. Sometimes there were superfluous ideas; at the same time, those same ideas could have been expounded upon to make the plot flow better. There are some interesting ideas in this book, and I think there is promise for this author's future works.
I liked the audiobook narrator's performance. I hadn't heard any of her narrations before and was pleasantly surprised.
