My most favorite in these series so far!

I absolutely loved the book. I consider myself a harsh critic. But the characters, the story building was just beyond everything I’ve expected. The way Barbara approached mental illness in this book was soheart wrenching. Thank you for being such a great writer and for being you until the end.

This is one of my favorite periods. I am already a huge fan of Shona Maclean “The Seeker” series and these books were recommended to me by Amazon because of that. Now I am proud to say that I am absolutely enthralled and happy to add these series as a new favorite. I own all the physical books as well. Thank you Barbara for this incredible gift.

I work a shit stressful job and escaping to Gold Valley has been my saving grace. I am as far away from cowboys, dusty saddles, ranches as a big city girl can be. These books are sort of my fantasy. They are descriptive and super easy to read. I am not good with words so hopefully this review helps. I absolutely love the books and own them both in paperback and audio.
