A great series. The Sackett’s are some of my favorite characters. The story is engaging and is packed with action. The character development is true to the era.

Amazing read!

This is an amazing read… The narrator does a great job with the presentation and the writer, God rest his soul, keep providing epic stories.

Had the movie followed the story, meaning the book, I believe it would’ve done much better.
Mitch Rapp is a character for the ages and continues to deliver nonstop action.

Truly Missed!

Vince Flynn is truly missed… His character development, as well as his story telling ability, was absolutely superb.
Mitch Rapp continues to be one of the greatest fictional intelligence officers of our time.
The story was truly enjoyed and is highly recommended.

True to the Character!

I enjoyed the story, as well as the narrator. To be honest, this is the second time I’ve listen to it and it was just as good this time as it was the first time.
The story for the highlights everything that Mitch Rapp is. I highly recommend this book!

Not what I expected!

The story started out fine but midway through it became unbearable. Not only does the reader not know anything about the military, he kept butchering the acronyms and their pronunciation (B U D S instead if just saying buds). To be honest, half the story was about the history of the SEALs.

Worth the Wait!

Like always, very well written…. The narrative, along with the build up and intrigue, was crafted carefully and it delivered the proper ending to this chapter of Mitch Rapp’s saga. The twist and turns kept me riveted until the last 10 minutes of the book.
It is also the first time that I can recall where a secondary main character is affected in such closing fashion.
The reader as always was superb, emphasizing the action and drama at the appropriate time.
Overall, this book was spectacular. Looking forward to the next one!

Entertaining and Oddly Paced.

The beginning was promising, offering a different kind of protagonist (Bird Dog). The pace was fast, and the writer seemed interested in character development. A little past half way something happened as the story became confusing (not non-understanding, more like jumping around). It was a bit overwhelming and annoying.
I did however finish it and I was glad I did as the writer, in my opinion, settled down and let the story develop. The ending normalized the story a bit and left the door open for the next chapter. Not sure that I’d buy it but one never knows. After a day or two, once I’ve digested, I just might. Happy listening.

Entertaining, Slower Paced!!

Great story. I’d read it prior to purchase here and it was true to the book. Overall a great listen.
The only issue I had was with the emphasis and/or inflection of certain sentences and paragraphs. The reader seemed to not only mispronounce words but place emphasis on certain passages that changed the meaning of said passage. It was minor.
Overall, great story.

Mitch Rapp with a twist!!!

Great story from an fictional American hero. People like Rapp are what keep America safe and this story details the length some will go to protect us.
The speaker is amazing, by far the best when it comes to Rapp storytelling.
The story as a whole comes together nicely and finishes with a resounding win. The different take on Rapp is different but refreshing. Would like to see Rapp more as a person though instead of just a kiling machine who cares about nothing but killing terrorists. The women in his life care about him and it would be nice for him to reciprocate the love instead of just making them choke down his attitude and agenda.
Overall though, he is a great character and Kyle Mills has done a great job of following in Vince Flynn’s footsteps. Highly recommended.
