I've always been fascinated in the untethering of conciousness from the material brain explained by NDEs and this one is by far the most detailed. In addition the doctors attempts at explaining something which is beyond our universe and language is very good. We are indeed not human beings in search of a spiritual experience but rather spiritual beings having a human experience.

At first I rated badly

I rated this badly when I first started listening to this due to hearing the readers stomach noises! 😩
however having listened to this over 5 times now I feel honored that the reader through obvious hunger reads this classic with full reverence 🙌🏽
everytime I listen, my tolerance and joy increases. No more irritation only gratitude
Wonderful story. It continuously teaches me and changes my old ways.

I haven't heard anything like this before. This collection of stories and instruction is spectacular. Thank you Clay. I know alot of people give you a hard time for your accent and pronunciation all I have to say is GET OVER IT and listen to this. It opened my limited mind to taste of what the infinite conciousness might be.

I have a few Gopi Krishna books and bought this as a short read I can do in a day. Great info on kundalini as usual but was disappointed for 2 reasons.
1) I'm not going to spoil the material but will say that somewhere towards the end he makes a kind off contradiction to his other material which although is not significant but leaves me wondering why the change of heart.
2) I know everyone's path is different but im still wanting to here more from GK himself on his actual methods of meditation and kundalini awakening/mannaging/ unblocking etc which is not in here.
All in all well worth the price though. I would highly recommend his Kashmir Discourses audiobook to anyone as this is a 12 hour gem given live, so many years ago, in his own voice, to a group of seekers in Kashmir with some parts out of the blue giving me goosebumps!

even though the book doesn't go into how to invoke kundalini the description and reasoning behind it is the best and clearest I've heard. It is well worth it for the first few chapters alone. This encouraged me to research Gopi Krishnas works further.

not sure about the upanishads and if this is the essence but it is a lovely book that I am sure I will listen to many times. the author distills his knowledge of spirituality wonderfully and would recommend this as a book to anyone starting their journey
