I received an audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review. I love, love, love this story. It was action right from the beginning, kept me interested the whole way through. I felt the author did an amazing job providing necessary background stories and info without taking away fro mother current story as it progresses. I can see this turning into an awesome series. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this author and series for future books.

I received a free audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I fairly enjoyed this book. The characters were all funny in their own ways and this story is different from anything I’ve read so far. Kept me interested from beginning to end.

I received a free audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I jumped into this book without knowing anything about the series, but I feel like this is fine as a stand-alone story. The characters are so diverse and funny and work well together. The story, I liked a lot, mystery mixed with s was little bit of Murder and mayhem and escape room gone wrong. Loved all the Scooby Doo references. Really enjoyed this story.

I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. This book follows many different characters throughout the book who, unwittingly, are all connected in some way or another. It was bright and funny and as down to earth as it can be with an alien in it. Loved all the characters, and Pirate of course. I recommend this light read to any sci-fi lover that wants something easy to listen to and brighten up their day.

Decent story. I received the audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I loved the main character, Kat, and the way she thinks and acts. Reminds me of how I was in high school. Short, light read. Took a good amount of time to get to what I really wanted to hear/read: the zombies but once we got to the end I had to laugh because it was expected, yet not. 3/5 stars.

Exceptional modern mythology

I received an audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review, and here goes. I’m in love with Richard Martin. He’s not the main character but there is something about the way the author describes him that just makes him..... mmmmm. He’s in a league with Roarke from Nora Roberts’ In Death series and Reyes Farrow from Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson series. I have never heard so many descriptions of a character’s eyes before but it really paints a picture. On to the main character. Loki in a story, 10/10 will definitely read. Loki as a smartass, loud mouth female, 1,000 times better. This is a story that will stay with me for a long time and I definitely will revisit when the mood strikes. It’s funny, it’s a little intense. It’s hot in all the right spots. For a first novel, Charity Ayres has done an exceptional job at storytelling. Can’t wait to start the second novel to this series. I need more Detective Martin.

Unusual but awesome book.

I received this audiobook free from the author in exchange for an honest review. I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book, and it kept me guessing half way through it and at the end. This is very unusual story telling and I love it. I hope to read/listen to more by this author and I loved the narrator, Stephanie Montalvo.

This is my absolute favorite book. I have two copies in paperback. This was the first time I ever listened to the audiobook and the narrator is amazing. Love this story even more now.
