great book. narrator was good, a little older sounding for some of the characters but that was ok.

Historia
Dickens never employed greater skill or more consummate craftsmanship on any other of his works than he did on A Tale of Two Cities, his magnificent historical novel set during the turbulent era marking the end of Louis XVI's reign. His passionate portrayal of the lives of two groups, one English, one French, caught up in the net of revolutionary intrigue and cruelty, has never been equalled. The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy.

brilliant

it was a little hard to stick with at times, but it was worth it. great and unexpected ending. the book also really painted a different picture of a time and place that's usually romanticized.

Historia
For the first time in more than a decade, Grimassi introduces listeners to a new system of witchcraft, one that draws upon the old ways and the old days to teach the practitioner how to master all that it is to be a Witch. Chock full of spells and rituals, Grimassi takes listeners deep into the woods to learn the secrets of the Thorned Path. Here we meet the entities that dwell deep within the organic memory of the earth - the devas, the deities, the magical life force behind the surface of the wooded glen.

not for me
Revisado: 03-08-16
this path definitely isn't for me. this book was definitely thorough though which made it very clear that I need to look elsewhere. It's based around an Italian style of witchcraft and the alternate names put me off. the author gives adequate explanation for that, but, I still didn't like that. also it may sound silly but, I couldn't fathom being able to perform the rites outlined in this book. anyways, it's well written, but I'll keep looking.
