This is one of those audiobooks that justify obtaining, reading, and executing on as a physical manual for building a lead generating machine. This, coming from a guy who has been working in the people business for over 27 years.

Over those years I have come to appreciate great leaders and authors for sharing their story and frameworks. Through these we get to literally time travel and step into our future, if only we execute on them.

I will come back and update this review as my journey evolves.

The Time Is Now

Question: When is the best time to plant an oak tree?
Answer: 30 years ago

Question: When is the second best time?
Answer: Today!

As a father of seven, ranging from 4yrs to 25yrs old as of 01/2023 I can only say I wish I would have had this wisdom shared with me 25 yrs ago. That being said, I am so happy to have it now in my hands so that I may be the best disciple maker.

P.S. Parenting doesn't stop when they leave the nest, let alone when they start giving us grandbabies.

Permission to be a Man

This book has renewed my outlook and given me permission to be a man in a culture that seems to run the other way.

I have always been bold, inspired, and well... manly. i have also been kind, caring, compassionate, and a lover of people from all walks.

That said, the world wants you to believe you must be docile and I am invigorated by the Truth that God is fierce and has made Me in His image, therfore I am called to be fierce as well!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and how well the author laid out the shaping if one's financial decisions. Be sure to finish the epilogue as his personal points are a valuable perspective.

Better Without Politics

As I have added biography and autobiography style works to my recent reading, I was dismayed at the immediate political slant this author had.

Having barely progressed mere minutes into the introduction I found myself contemplating for the first time in more than 12 yrs as an audible subscriber a request for a refund.

However, despite the slant and in your face agenda I chose to persevere and see how deep this opinion would be.

Fortunately, the author seemed to get back to the facts at hand, and while the final chapter seemed to revisit the politics of the matter, the core of the book provides worthwhile insight into the trials and tribulations of both a visionary leader, his lieutenants, and the life that Amazon itself has taken on.

A worthwhile read as long as you can persevere through some of the authors apparent opinion.
