I have read through half of the Battletech series, and it's hard to find a good group of people to have some sort of book club with. Having these guys go over the books I've read and show their genuine enjoyment in the Battletech universe is a real treat. Even if you haven't read the books they do a good job of summarizing them

The narrator changes but the quality remains

several trilogies or connected books in the pathfinder tales series had great narrators and then it seemed like Paizo was like hire this British guy to do the rest of the books. He does a good job but on multiple occasions he is replacing the previous narrator on the final book of a series . it's a little off-putting but not a big deal

story wise this is a great wrapup to an excellent series in the pathfinder tales

The very best of the Legends universe

I've been reading the x-wing series since the late 90s when I was in grade school. Ever since I have found that the best stories and characters in the Star Wars universe are often those who aren't great political leaders, generals, or Jedi. I still have the busted up print versions on my bookshelf. When I first joined audible I searched for the x-wing series and was so disappointed to find them abridged. To finally have these books unabridged and with the FANTASTIC voice acting of Marc Thompson (along with the production crew) is such an amazing gift. The Bacta War is one of my favorites of the x-wing series and is among the best that Stackpole has written. To those experiencing this for the first time, I am envious of you!

Onward to the Wraith Squadron series!

Great Narration and introduction to this character

my first introduction to this character. It kept me gripped and the narrator was on point. He really helped with the immersion. Tren Sparks is okay, but he doesn't hold a candle to Mr. James

Superb narration and sound as always. Marc Thompson and team are an absolute treasure with the Star Wars novels. The X-Wing series have always been my favorite of the Star Wars novels and proved, much like Rogue One, that some of the best stories in this universe don't even involve Jedi knights or Sith. Keep them coming!

The performance was outstanding and the story/series are among the best of the new canon. I'm a huge fan of the rogue squadron /wraith squadron series, and alphabet Squadron is right there with them!

Ignore the other reviewers. This is some good!

I don't get what the other reviewers were getting in a huge stink about. There was a main story and all the characters were tied together in some way. I almost didn't get this audiobook because of their reviews. I'm glad I didn't listen to that nonsense. It's essential to see the viewpoints of all involved and how the war has affected them.

The writing was excellent and the narration , as always, was a real treat.

Fantastic character development and presentation

The Rogue and Wraith squadron series of books are near and dear to me. They are among my favorites in the Star Wars universe. When I heard about Alphabet Squadron, I was hopeful and cautious. Two books in and I can say that this is a series that has me hooked and captures the same sort of essence that the previous two series held. I'm not the biggest fan of the new lore ( Operation Cinder ? Really?!) but the story still holds well and the author has an excellent ability in developing complex characters. There are oddities , but this is an author who excels at describing starfighter combat ( there are details here that were lacking in the other series) and the broader scope of what it brings. The characters on all sides of the conflict really pull you in. This is certainly a series that has risen to be among my all time favorites.

For those who enjoyed Legends and may be hesitant..give it a chance. It may seem a bit odd at first, but if grows on you .
