Learn How the Brain Really Works
Revisado: 11-12-24
I listened and wrote notes. I have a marketing background and already knew about these triggers. But, as the speaker said, marketers know about these triggers but not why they work. The power and influence lie in knowing "the why."
I learned that what I've been taught about the brain as a solely logical cognitive thinking tool is wrong and that our emotions play a role in our decision-making.
Learning about the 7 Triggers can and has been used for good and evil purposes. You will learn the keys to being influential. Take good notes. He gives step-by-step instructions with examples.

Very Easy to Listen to and Learn From
Revisado: 11-12-24
Jordan Belfort has a booming voice that exudes enthusiasm. As some have pointed out, he didn't invent the Straight-Line, but he explains it very well and in great detail. I learned so much about it, and I loved the stories he told about his earlier experiences in sales.
A very entertaining learning tool that any aspiring entrepreneur and marketer should use.

Very Good for Appointment Setters
Revisado: 08-01-17
What did you love best about Dial Success?
The exercises were good for getting me to understand why I am in sales.
What other book might you compare Dial Success to and why?
There was Prospecting and Setting Appointments Made Easy. But, Le Put's book focuses on cold leads not warm leads and he gives you tools to create an effective script. Le Put gives more direction in such a short amount of time. I definitely got more out of his book. I returned the aforementioned book.
What does Mike Le Put bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The gong sound for the wrong way to respond to the customer objections.
What did you learn from Dial Success that you would use in your daily life?
How to write an effective script to set an appointment and rebut the objections (the rebuttals were excellent!)
Any additional comments?
Among other things, he stresses the purpose for calling, which is to get the appointment not to make a sale.
