I throughly enjoyed this book. It is divided into short lectures that are easy to hear. The author has also got a great sense of humor. I am listening to it again in order to hear what I might have missed the first time. Heady but Funny, what a great combination!

Austin’s Best Work!

I love this story. It is so different from all of Lynn Austin’s other works. But I loved it! The narrator Jennifer Ikeda has got to be one of the best actors ever I ended up staying up way past my normal bedtime just to finish. Now I have to somehow make it through my work day on very little sleep all because I could not stop listening. This book is a complete JOY.

C S Lewis is wonderful. The book he originally wrote is a classic in the in the best sense of the word. Grisson’s reading is great.
But the forward is horrible! The universalist reference was not necessary. She compares her pain and loss compared to Lewis’ and is patronizing! Please hear this book in a different format or just skip over the forward. I found it extremely unsettling. Let Lewis work stand on it’s own and the reader will enjoy the feast!

I enjoy listening to Lynn Austin. Up till now I have only listened to her biblical historical novels. This was a change. But I believe this is my favorite! This does a great job with developing the characters. Her plots and themes are creative. Great author that I throughly enjoy!

As a Christian wife for 30+ years I learned a lot about myself hearing the surveys and culmination of data this couple presents. I also appreciate the fact that they approach everything from a Christian World View. I have been blessed just listening to this book about myself and lots of other women just like me.

I love this book. I have read of Anne Rice's struggles with her faith. However, I firmly believe that the Holy Spirit was working through her as she wrote this book. She has an imagination that has been baptized. I will continue to pray that she once again embraces the Lord who loves her and has given her a very special gift of writing! Shalom
