Was surprised by the story
Revisado: 01-07-25
It’s definitely going to be one of my favorite series starting now, really enjoyed the story and unique universe with some familiar elements. I wish the book included just a bit more about Eric as a person and his background to allow “more personal” main character connection. I am not really invested into or against his survival. I hope he will be developed more as a main character in future books. Otherwise great listen. Looking forward to this series.
Not sure if this is intentional but the main character is not very bright at times and some of the things that are happening get resolved by the plot, kind of makes other supporting character look dumb or naive. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

Just as good
Revisado: 01-07-25
Great story, couple of plot holes and story seems like it needs just bit more editing but otherwise a very great listen and world building experience. Looking forward to Eric’s future adventures.

Here for a long run!
Revisado: 08-01-24
Okay, this was so good. I made the effort to listen to the past ten books in anticipation of starting this book. Regardless of how much I complain, these series have been absolutely incredible. A lot happened in this book, and it was so exciting to listen to. I am going to go back and relisten to it again. I can't wait for the next book; I'm looking forward to reading it on the author's Patreon account before its compete and recorded.

Why? Ok this is my last attempt
Revisado: 12-05-23
The first ten hours were filled with fluff and rambling, the second part was this book saving grace unfortunately it ended on a cliffhanger, before he even gets the soul forge while the entire book seems to foreshadow it for ten hours straight. The first seven books were great now it’s just mehhhh, this was my last attempt to keep up with the series so disappointing!

Ok, how can I quit when I am nine books in now! Great story line, great performance and just enjoyable listen. I am so used to the monologues now that I don’t actually mind them at all! Love it. Can’t wait for the new book!

Revisado: 09-30-23
Do I have my ups and downs with this story? Yes, do I get turned off with his ramblings sometimes? Yes, but do I love this series and this author, also yes!
When you are invested in this series this far and story is still super creative and extremely fun to listen to there is no turning back. I hope it won’t end for a while. The performances are always well done and it’s like music to my ears, I do listen on 1.2 speed. Honestly I don’t have any constructive criticism I just love the series. Clean (language), well designed and beautiful executed.

Revisado: 12-16-22
Honestly, as a female, it's so hard to find good clean LitRPG literature and I absolutely love the genre, this series is incredible. The action, the world, and the mechanics of the environment keep you hooked. I am in love with the series and I really hope it keeps going for couple more books, the author does a fantastic job writing and the narrator does a fantastic job narrating.

Disappointed...
Revisado: 09-06-22
The first two books were so good, incredible actually, I loved it so much that I thought I finally found an excellent clean LitRPG that didn't overly sexualize things and perfect read for females. Excellent story and a creative incredible world, but was I wrong? I don't understand why the author needs to bring the "ethical" and "political" rants into his writing. I read (listen to) fantasy for pleasure to escape the real world realities. The last thing I need is literal hero rants throughout the book. I have lost interest completely. Such an incredible storyline, but it just set me off; I don't know if I will continue to listen.

In The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. With core buildings, professional fighters, and now their own dungeon, the settlement is primed to grow into a kingdom of true power and magic. The path to power has not been without risk, however. The MistVillage has been noticed. Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village's destruction.

Stop with the prompts already
Revisado: 06-11-20
I absolutely love the narrator, he is incredible and actually made this book bearable! I am disgusted with the author in many ways! If you want to kill off the character just kill them don’t set it up a disgusting seen to give your main character an excuse! Honestly the reason I survived through all these books it’s because of the Nick Podehl, he is so talented and I absolutely love his voice! I hate this book! There is a better way to summarize prompts with giving just enough detail without killing the whole story. I hope the main character dies at the end!!!!
