Historia
Diana Jean Schemo covered the Air Force Academy's sexual assault scandal in 2003, one of a series of academy embarrassments that have included drug use, rape complaints, and charges of evangelical officers pushing Christianity on cadets of all faiths. Today, the institution is in flux - a fascinating time to look at the changes being made and the experience of today's cadets. Schemo followed a handful of academy cadets through the school year. From the admissions process and basic training to graduation.

Hates the military
Revisado: 01-10-24
It seems clear the author hates the military. She completely misses the point of breaking down cadets to remove individuality to rebuild as strong teammates. My guess is this author has never been a part of anything that resembled service to others. This was extremely disappointing book.

so disappointed
Revisado: 08-28-23
Well read but the characters were turned into emotional children. This was such a sad and disappointing end to this story. Our country is attacked then mostly occupied(claimed) by another country and somehow we have to "atone" for fighting back?? cmon
