I’m stunned by the genius of this story and the absolute perfection of its narration. Abby always gives us plenty of feels, but with this story, she has created a beautiful, multifaceted emotional rollercoaster. I am tempted to call it a masterpiece. Every sentence of the novel is spellbinding, and Christine Lakin and Matt Lanter - in duet - simply couldn’t be more sublime. They bring every aspect of the story to vivid life from the vastly different but totally realistic settings to the shocking discovery of the tiniest little mouse! And as a survivor of the hell wrought by dementia's cruel reality, I can attest to the authenticity of the characters’ heart rending reactions throughout. Thank you to everyone associated with this production and most sincere kudos to Ms. Jimenez. Brava!

First Class Narration I DUET♥️♥️♥️

This audiobook is as close to being a masterpiece as I have ever heard. I loved everything about it. The story, though spicier than I usually prefer, is excellent, but what propelled this book to the very top of my all-time favorites list was the superb pairing and duet perfection of Samantha Brentmoor and Patrick Zeller.
While Samantha is a relatively long time favorite, Patrick was entirely new to me, and I almost passed on the book. THAT would’ve been a HUGE mistake. These two voice actors created an experience I will savor for years to come.
I sincerely hope TLM Productions offers the next book of this wonderful series in DUET with this fabulous pair.

Not exactly my usual fare, I nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Deanna Raybourn is one of my top favorite authors, and I am always eager to get my hands on one of her stories. They never disappoint. And these narrators, both new to me, did a really good job. Brava! to everyone involved in bringing us Killers of a Certain Age!
