Infuriating and Enlightening

I first came across Marty Makary on an interview with ZDoggMD and what he said made sense so I decided to listen to this book on audible. I’m a software and systems engineer in Aerospace but my spouse is an RN. So I’m always curious about the medical industry. I’m constantly shocked that medicine hasn’t learned from other industries like Airlines and Truckers. On the surface they may not seem like they compare but they do on one key point. Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Truckers all operate equipment that if mistakes are made be could be injured or die. They have enforced duty limits, but medicine does not…

A good and riveting story of the HMS Hermione. The only thing missing would of be a paragraph on how they authenticated the log given to the court from a foreign power.
