Historia
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

No BS advice on Retiring EARLY
Revisado: 05-15-20
This book is refreshing in that it teaches how to gain wealth while you’re still young enough to actually enjoy it. It challenges the concept that wealth must coincide with old age. It points out what you’re probably doing/thinking wrong and details how to change your actions and beliefs. It’s offensive, but accurate and helpful if you get over your initial defensiveness. Why 'A' Students Work for 'C' Students and 'B' Students Work for the Government

Historia
Kiyosaki expands on his belief that the school system was created to churn out Es / Employees...those "A Students" who read well, memorize well and test well... and not the creative thinkers, visionaries, and dreamers - entrepreneurs-in-the-making...those "C Students" who grow up to be the innovators and creators of new ideas, businesses, applications, and products. The audiobook urges parents not to be obsessed with their kids' "letter grades" ("good grades" might only mean they or the student themselves were successful in jamming a square peg into a round hole...) and focus, instead, on concepts, ideas, and helping their child find their true genius.

Offensively eye opening
Revisado: 12-04-18
As a “B student,” an attorney and a government employee, I am naturally offended by this book BUT, because I am able to see all three sides of the coin and take into consideration the writer’s context, the points made in the book were well taken.
The book could have been less repetitive (same examples used multiple times) and less political (bashed specific presidents).
Other than that, good read!

Historia
I found myself helpless as we were trying to take care of our son's illness and was looking for a second and even a third job to make ends meet. During this time I met a well-dressed older couple. They came to our restaurant for some food and drinks, as we were just talking; I told them my situation, and they were very sympathetic, before leaving the gentleman left me a good tip and his business card and told me to call him the next day. Looking at the card, I noticed he was a real estate broker.

Don’t waste your time or money

I would give this book 0 stars, I would. Not helpful at all. This book basically only discusses how to apply for a real estate license, info you can find via a quick google search. No discussion on how to be “successful” thereafter. Waste of a credit! 😠

At last, for a generation that's materially ambitious yet financially clueless comes I Will Teach You To Be Rich, Ramit Sethi's 6-week personal finance program for 20-to-35-year-olds. A completely practical approach delivered with a nonjudgmental style that makes readers want to do what Sethi says, it is based around the four pillars of personal finance - banking, saving, budgeting, and investing - and the wealth-building ideas of personal entrepreneurship.

Good overall principles and entertaining audio with some humor here and there. However, there were a couple alternative facts and advocating that slightly rubbed me the wrong way. Would recommend to readers in early to mid 20’s.
