I liked this story and my girl Wesley did her thing as usual. However, the male narrator has to go. His breathy speech and mispronouncing so many words made me cringe each time it was his turn.

Great start to the series

What a great story! So far I am really enjoying the series and looking forward to the other books. I understand the issue with the narrator talking fast but I like it. She moves the story along and changes the voices for each character well. Some narrators speak painfully slow, which may have me saying 'hurry up!' 😄

Okay, Troy Duran's voice is just too sexy! Both narrators were good but he did something to me! The story was intriguing and kept me wanting to know what was next. There was also a double love story....sorta and I dug it. Well worth the time and credit spent.

This book was not as good as the first. There was too much time spent dealing with the issues of the son/best friend. That went on the entire book. And they never resolved Eric's 'issue.' The whole book took us through all of that pain just for him to still have his 'issue.' It was boring.

I am only 15 minutes in and bored as h*ll. The narrator's voice does not work for either character. He does not sound like a black woman or a russian white man. And he just goes on with a dull tone. My mind keeps drifting so I am not really listening.
