Thought it wouldn't be as good as Butcher and Blackbird, but I was wrong! Just as well done!

I truly fell in love with Sloane and Rowans story that I had a hard time getting as excited about these two- especially with the whole enemies to lovers thing. But, much like I had to do with the first book to get past the initial gore, I got through the first chapter and was hooked once again. I love that Sloane and Rowan still made appearances in this book, and I fell in love not only with the romantic matches in the stories, but also the friendship and brotherhood the characters share. Once again, this was a perfect blend of horror, suspense, humor, love and sex. Not one overdone over the others. I'm so excited for the 3rd to enter my library. I also have to say, I feel bad that I'm not reading as much as I used to and I find myself using audible over physically reading books these days. But I truly don't know if I would have enjoyed these as much without the amazing narrators. I do have a thing for sexy Irish accents, but even the ladies in both the 1st and 2nd of the trilogy didn't disappoint and only added to the story's charm and enjoyment. Wonderful series. I'm intrigued to learn more about the 3rd brother since he doesn't play a huge role in either books. can't wait!

I'm normally into psychological thrillers, so the premise really intrigued me. I was a tad apprehensive about the gore since I do have a weak stomach and the beginning was a bit wild, but overall I don't think it went overboard. I recommend to readers who might not love the gore factor in the first chapter to get through it and keep listening. It isn't like that the whole book, and doesn't go too far. What was a pleasant surprise... maybe a bit too happy a surprise for me, was with how sexy this was. I don't do a lot of romance and smut, but this was an exception I'll make all day. This was a great read and had it all- thrill, humor, love, and lust. Let's just say... my husband appreciated my reaction to this book as well.

Love the book, hate the narator

I just can't get through it. I miss CJ Critt! this narration is rushed and just sounds immature.

i really hope we get a third and more. Although I liked the 1st a bit more (I've listened to it around 15 times) I love the characters and the narrator so much. These books have becone a tradition of my commute everywhere during the holiday season.

Not only was the story so intriguing that it kept me listening for hours, but the narrator was absolutely perfect. She was perfect to narrate both main characters in the story. This book brought me to tears and laughter. Such a beautiful story, well done.
