Historia
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals.

Tremendous series - the best Fantasy available
Revisado: 12-18-20
Brandon Sanderson's imagination of new worlds is very impressive. But his character development and the challenges facing his protagonists makes his stories impossible to forget. I finished this book (first went back and re-listened to the first three books again) a week ago and am still thinking about it. I like multiple book series , whether they are science fiction (The Expanse), crime (Prey or Bosch novels), spy (Mitch Rapp or Jason Borne), because you really get to know a character and get to see how they react to events. Brandon Sander's does a better job getting the reader into his character's head then any other author. Bravo!

Another thriller with awesome twists and turns!
Revisado: 08-28-19
Tim Tigner has created a excellent protagonist in Kyle Achilles that rivals or surpasses Jack Reacher, Jason Borne, Mitch Rapp, and Court Gentry. That combined with his use of the latest technology in his story lines make for very compelling reading (or listening). Using Dick Hill as narrator is icing on the cake. Well done!!

Historia
Hundreds of books have been written about the financial crisis that engulfed the world after Lehman Brothers went bankrupt. But what if the bigger financial crisis is ahead of us, not behind us?As John Mauldin and Jonathan Tepper deftly illustrate in this controversial audio book, the crisis was more than a half-century in the making. The Great Financial Crisis, however, was merely Act I.

Layman's explanation of debt crisis; it's not over
Revisado: 03-27-13
This book gives the listener an explanation of the the 2008 debt crisis and how ongoing economic policies in most of the advanced countries are further deepening the problem. It is a very well done documentary-type book with numerous references to other studies, yet is very easy to understand and is actually entertaining. I will have to buy the actual book just for reference.
I read the "Economist" every week and thought I had a handle on the debt crisis for most countries, but this book lays it all out in easy to understand cause and effect terms. Highly recommended!
