So I’m gonna start by saying that this isn’t one of my favorite Jayda Marx books (I’m a bit confused on the system of picking which ones to be an audio book because they don’t seem to be her best ones….anyways….) but it’s a Jayda Marx book so it’s an auto buy for me. Narration was good and story was ok BBBUUUTTTTTTTT the freaking original sound at the end?!?! That MADE the audio book! Let me just say I am impressed with Nick Hudson but also WHY CANT ALL BOOKS COME WITH A ORIGINAL SONG?! That honestly just made my day and made the book for me!

I always love a J. D. Light story. I wasn’t a huge fan of the narrator on this one. And it definitely needed better editing as there where several instances of repeated words and such.

So I just did a star review when I first completed the book and came back today to see if anymore had come out. Seen the other review posted so I had to say my bit too I guess. I’m completely the opposite. I didn’t enjoy the narrator at all and had trouble following a lot of it. I miss Kenneth Obi so much. Most all of the books he narrated were an auto buy for me. Since he died I’ve seen several of my favorite authors struggle to find a new narrator and I hate to say it but this one just isn’t it. I didn’t enjoy his voice, weird pauses and many repeated lines. Narration is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

I LOVE Susi Hawke and she is always an auto buy for me. I never leave written reviews on books...I just usually click the stars. BUT I had to write to say Drew Becca knocked it out of the park on this one! I was AMAZED with all his different accents! He did such a good job that even when they were all in a group setting you could tell who was speaking JUST BY THE VOICE!
Great stories from Susi and PERFECT voices from Drew......can’t ask for anything better!
