I liked it. It had some moments when you do get into the emotions, but the story was told in such a joyful way that made a bit hard to conect with them all the time.

I loved it
Revisado: 02-22-25
It was one of the audiobooks I'd love the most. it was hilarious. There wasn't a thing about it I didn't like. The character were fantastic. I usually love one more than the other but, this time, it was impossible to choose, they were both stunning characters. The story was so nicely told and so much fun. As much as I liked everything about, I think what it make love it was the narration. It was amazing. I'd always say I don't like audiobooks thay much but narrators like this one proves me, once again, very wrong. It was marvelous.

it was ok
Revisado: 12-09-23
It was an ok story but it felt longer than it actually was. i think that's because of how terribly annoying those brothers were. They couldn't stop yelling at each other and that end up been intolerable to me. I just wanted to be done with it.

Someone abandons a pedigree hellcat right where Shax can conveniently claim her and sets off a cataclysmic domino line of events. It's time for the other shoe to drop since the Brimstone has a shadow cabal after them - partly due to Shax's own, er, interesting decisions and partly due to the presence of Agent Julian Parallax onboard.

Revisado: 07-04-22
I had a lot of fun listening to this. I love the stroy even if I wasn't thrilled of how things end up. It was very entertaining. I keep thinking the narrator is part of the reasons I keep coming back to this series. It is fun and has nice characters, but the way the story is being told gives it something special

When Shax stumbles across rumors of an experimental house that responds to the occupant’s brain functions, creating scenarios to please and delight, naturally, he wants to steal it. But with the return of a troubled and hunted Julian Parallax and an overabundance of Poe references, even Shax’s scheming may not be enough to get the Brimstone crew out alive this time.

It's always fun going back to this characters and see what adventure they are going to share with us. This is such fun to listen to. I loved it. The narration is beautiful, i love everything about it, the pace, the voices, even the singing that I wasn't even expecting buy put on a smile on my face. I think the narration gives somethignextravto the book. Fantastic experience.

Historia
Three bodies, three mutilations, each one with something...unusual inserted into the wounds. The deaths are enough to leave Ash Thomas scrambling around to find someone to trust as the murders hit so close to home and heart. For Ash, that might just mean he’s on his own now, facing a killer who has a deadly fascination for dangerous young men and dancing holly blue butterflies over their skin.

great book
Revisado: 03-29-20
Another great instalment in this series. I just can’t get enough of it. I loved the characters very much. I love getting to know more of Gray, who has always been such an intriguing character. It was mostly slow pace but the story was interesting enough to keep me hook to it all the time.
The plot was fantastic. I love the way the main character’s stories connect. Even though I love the characters, that mostly is only when I talk about Gray, Jack and Jan. I liked Ash and Raif but I can’t say I loved them the way I loved the others. Ash was particularly interesting. I miss Jack terribly. I guess it just reflect the way Jan and Gray feel, but it was so bittersweet the few moments when I get to see him.
I alternate the reading and listening. I’m very impressed by the narrator abilities to create all this different characters. It was so easy to say who was who and they were so many that I was worry I would get confused. Perfectly paced. I loved the accents so much. Great narration. So perfect for the book. I keep thinking Gray is the one who has the prettiest voice.

Historia
Ash Thomas and his gameplay with other men is vicious, cruel. Better to f--k someone over than be the one who’s on the floor, f--ked up, right? But his latest cruelties are about to catch the eye of the Wraith, someone who’s been brought up to play professionally in the shadows. Life lessons never did come easy, especially when they’re about to walk in off the darkened streets, bringing a hangman with bloodied footprints in its wake.

great book
Revisado: 03-26-20
I read this in such a short time. I couldn’t stop reading it. I did felt a bit underwhelmed by some characters I wanted to show up a little more but overall it was a very interesting book. It kind of feel like a standalone, if not for some references and connections to the rest of the series.
The plot was good and the characters were so interesting. I was fascinated by Ash and trying to guess some mysteries about him. I can’t wait to see how he will get introduce to the rest of the series. I’m a bit scared about that.
I, again, alternate between reading and listening to the audiobook. The narration, as good as it has being the whole series. There is something about the narrator voice that makes me unable to stop listening. He might be the only to blame if I get late to works, since I drive slower to listen to the book a little longer. Such a good narration and such a good book.

Historia
In the aftermath of Jack Harrison’s release from the psychiatric unit, Gray Raoul’s innate “born this bastard way” instinct is to brutally repay the one responsible for financing Jack and Jan’s torturous psychological reconditioning. But that person is a professional player in their own right, one who knows exactly how to manipulate everyone in Gray’s life. To help negotiate this delicate situation, Gray seeks to contract Trace and his ex-Diadem Dom, Gabriel Hunter.

Revisado: 03-26-20
I had such a good time with this guys. I love Gray so much. He is such an intriguing character and getting a little bit more of his history was great. I love the interactions between all of the characters. I liked them all but Gray is the one who got my heart.
Even with how good the story was, I had a few low moments, mostly because of the slow pace and some very few moments when I didn’t felt the strong connection I always get from every one of the characters. Those were very few occasion and most of the time, I had a great time with the book.
I alternate the ebook and the audiobook. I love the narration. The voices given to Gray, Jack and Jan are so perfect. I was so excited to see how Trace, Gabe and Darrek would make themselves noticed since there are already so much characters but it worked perfectly. I Really liked the book as well as the narration.
