A good book to begin your $$$ journey with

This book is 70% context expanding, 30% detailed. I think that is good for when you're starting out trying to reach your financial goals. Since its not detailed, people further along in their journey may be alienated but if you're just getting started, Chris Hogan's and book is a great place to started with

Anyone who has been involved in business in any form knows that you rarely, if ever find the information you need in one place. The thing I appreciate the most from The 1 Page Marketing Plan is that the author took the time, to collect the most successful marketing fundamentals and strategies and package them into a single book and plan. Allan Dib even acknowledges that he isn't the originator of the information presented in this book but he did collect it all and forge them into a simple system which is priceless. He walks threw the marketing process starting from recognizing your target audience all the way to stimulating referrals from your existing client base. It's the ultimate marketing book!

A lot of financial books nowadays are very general. This is not one of them. Alpha Money Strategies manages to cover a decent amount of financial topics while maintaining a laser-like vision of achieving financial abundance. What I took most from this is that one must take finding their purpose in life serious and once it's found, find a way to monetize it. All while doing this, you should get a high paying trade and invest. That might not sound groundbreaking but that's a strong foundation to be built off of. He gives details of how to complete each of those steps and in my opinion, it is a financial book that every male should read/listen to.

A no nonsense approach towards financial success

When I 1st listened to this book on audible, I had already read a LOT of financial books. Even with that being the case, I was still impressed at how Dave Ramsey provides a lot of administrative details to progress in your life financially without getting into debt. I say it's a must-read for those that want to not get into debt to achieve what they want in life. He doesn't just say that statement, he lays a methodical plan to do so as well as a plan on how to get out of debt.

A balance of financial abundance and purpose

We often pick up fallacies about money based on our experiences. These fallacies are a combination of our personality and the experiences (Both good and bad) that we have with money. All this is going on while we often struggle to find our purpose in life. If the 2 of those are not aligned, that's when friction occurs in life. This book does a great job of outlining a blueprint that will keep those 2 things balanced so that you can be financially abundant and you can fulfill your purpose in life at the same time. You DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE UP ONE TO HAVE THE OTHER. Both of them can be achieved and the means on how to do so are laid out in this book. The only negative I can think of is the switching of a male and female voice throwout the book. They switch every chapter which is a little jarring since you get accustomed to listening to one only to have them switch on you. The audio quality of the male's chapters is noticeable lower. The lines also were not modified to adjust for a male reading it so sometimes when he is reading the script, he reads dialogue where the author is referring to herself as a woman which makes the book sound a little strange at times. It's not enough to break the experience but it's worth mentioning. Those aside, it's a great financial book!
