Historia
What do a hunky paramedic and a know-it-all librarian have in common, except for two sibling labradoodles and a curiosity that keeps them digging into the unsolved disappearances of several women? Living in the historic family home—somewhat of a relic—known as Marigold House, nerdy librarian Lake Marigold is a bit of an oddity. A homebody at heart, she prefers books and hanging out with her dogs to dating. That is until Linus Canfield catches her eye. Terrible narration and simple plot, full of holes
Revisado: 01-23-25
Basic plot full of holes and one dimensional characters. I’m guessing it was written and read by AI. Waste of time!

Paige Newsom is finally at a place in her life where she’s comfortable. She loves her job as a college professor in Southern California, lives close enough to her mother to visit her regularly, and has three daughters who are flourishing in their own careers. Basic
Revisado: 09-25-24
This plot was so predictable and the characters were so one dimensional that I wondered if it was written by AI. I lost track of how many times I whispered "so stupid” to something. The protagonist was embarrassingly immature for a 50-year-old woman and the story was full of contradictions. I tend to finish every book I start, and since this was a book I could listen to while doing other things I powered through to the end. If I had it to do over again, I would save my time
