BOOK 3 IN THIS SERIES IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

I COULDN'T STOP LISTENING! EVEN THO I HAVE THE REST OF THIS SERIES IN MY LIBRARY, THIS ONE WAS SO GOOD I LISTENED TO IT TWICE BEFORE GOING TO BOOK 4 ! THE NON-STOP ACTION IS DESCRIBED SO WELL I CAN SEE THE IMAGES IN MY HEAD AND IT FEELS AS THO I AM EXPERIENCING THE ACTIONS MYSELF! STARTING TO CARE FOR SOME OF THE CHARACTERS LIKE THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE. REALLY GREAT WRITING, REALLY GREAT STORY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. I LITERALLY JUST FINISHED "CITY OF FALLEN SOULS" FOR MY SECOND LISTEN AND CAME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW SO I CAN GO START BOOK 4, "TITAN". JUST THE BEST LITRPG I'VE FOUND IN A VERY LONG TIME!

Things are looking up for Jax, more or less. He's met a cool girl (who's a wisp), got some new friends (who're Dwarves and Cat people and Elves and all sorts), and started a war.... (Whoops!) Only thing is, they say an Englishman's home is his castle, and Jax's home is in ruins...this place isn't going to be any use in defending his new people unless he gets it sorted, and fast!

BOOK 2 IN THE UNDERVERSE SERIES BY JEZ CAJIAO IS EXCELLENT! THE STORY CONTINUES FOR MY NEWEST OBSESSION WITH "JAX", THE HEROIC MC. I REALLY LOVE THE WAY THIS CHARACTER COMES OFF AS A TRULY GOOD MAN WITH MORALS HE LIVES BY AND CONVICTIONS HE WILL NOT ABANDON. HE'S STRONG AND DOES THE BEST HE CAN TO HELP AS MANY AS HE CAN IN THIS WORLD HE WAS PUSHED IN TO BY A PORTAL FROM HIS OTHER WORLD. THIS NEW WORLD IS COOL. WELL BUILT BY THE AUTHOR AND I HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE STORY. I ALREADY WANT TO REREAD BOTH BOOKS 1 AND 2 FOR THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF PERFECT DETAILS, BUT FIRST...ONTO BOOK 3! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL WHO LOVE A GREAT LITRPG!

IF YOU HAVE THE BRASS.... "FORTITUDE"... TO LISTEN TO THE AUDIO ON THIS FIRST BOOK YOU WILL DISCOVER AN EXCELLENT NEW SERIES! AS SOME REVIEWERS MENTION, THE NARRATION IS A VERY STRONG ENGLISH ACCENT. BUT I PROMISE THE STORY WILL GET YOU IN AND HOOK YOU! I LISTENED TO JAX AND HIS BACKGROUND STORY BECAUSE I REALIZE YOU CAN'T JUST SKIP TO BOOK TWO OR YOU'LL BE LOST. I'M SO VERY GLAD I DID JUST THAT! PLUS, THE NARRATION GETS 100% BETTER STARTING WITH THE SECOND BOOK! SO DOES THE STORY! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD FOR MY NEW FAVORITE AUTHOR-JEZ CAJIAO!

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY. FIRST OF JONATHON BROOKS I'VE LISTENED TO AND I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GAMBLING ON A NEW AUTHOR (NEW TO ME!) AND FOUR BOOKS FOR ONE CREDIT. BUT I WAS VERY HAPPY TO FIND THE ENTIRE STORY ENGAGING ALL THE WAY TO THE END. VERY GOOD NARRATOR, EASY TO TELL WHO THE DIFFERENT VOICES BELONGED TO!
I WILL BE BUYING AND LISTENING TO MORE OF HIS WORK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE TO EVERYBODY. GOOD FOR YOUR KIDS TOO AS IT HAS NO CURSING OR HAREM ELEMENTS. GOOD, CLEAN FUN!
