Historia
The frontiersmen were a remarkable breed of men. They were often rough and illiterate, sometimes brutal and vicious, often seeking an escape in the wilderness of mid-America from crimes committed back east. In the beautiful but deadly country which would one day come to be known as West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, more often than not they left their bones to bleach beside forest paths or on the banks of the Ohio River.

In You Will Own Nothing¸ Roth reveals how the agendas of Wall Street, world governments, international organizations, socialist activists, and multinational corporations like Blackrock all work together to reduce the power of the dollar and prevent millions of Americans from taking control of their wealth.

Insight to CIA and Dulles
Revisado: 09-18-24
I was fairly aware of what the CIA was doing in the 1950s and 60s but not the level of detail or the insight to Allan Dulles. Pretty dark. Angleton really summed it up as he was dying. They were evil. We are still living with blowback from their actions.

Get into the mind of a criminal
Revisado: 08-07-24
By chapter 25 or so, with nine hours remaining I can’t waste any more time on this book. It was interesting for the first 18 or so chapters but his regular spewing venom about the people that screwed him is just too much. I also got tired of hearing about all the drug deals he was working on. Dragging his wife and three children around the world while he was running from the criminal justice. System was pretty disgusting too. The guy is truly a sociopath. I’ve spent more than enough time in his “presence”.

Historia
As a Russian recruit in World War II, Ivan Makarov witnessed General Chuikov pull out his pistol and shoot their regimental commander as a traitor. That was on his first day at the front. Thrown into an open field to face German tanks and artillery fire, with only rifles and machine guns to defend themselves with, almost 2,000 men of his regiment were wiped out in only six days at the Eastern Front. At this rate, Ivan struggled to comprehend how he would survive the hundreds of battles that lay before him, with death seeming to be the only certainty.

Historia
More than 2,000 years after his death, Julius Caesar remains one of the great figures of history. He shaped Rome for generations, and his name became a synonym for "emperor" - not only in Rome but as far away as Germany and Russia. He is best known as the general who defeated the Gauls and doubled the size of Rome's territories. But, as Philip Freeman describes in this fascinating new biography, Caesar was also a brilliant orator, an accomplished writer, a skilled politician, and much more.

Rescued from certain death, they now must fight another world’s war.

Revisado: 06-18-23
I am not a science-fiction fan in general. The overall plot of this book was too fantastic for me to suspend all belief. Very convoluted story line. The narration and accents were not good. In my opinion it was only worth the price I paid for it. Zero.
