Dr. Lerer does a great job in bringing Milton to life. He presents his life and major works in a very comprehensive manner that is very down to earth. One understands that Milton is difficult to understand without getting lost in the complexity of Milton. This is a good starting point for those who want to understand Milton. One walks away encouraged to dig deeper into Milton.
