Finishing the book instead of requiring me to buy the sequel and not informing me this was part 1 of a two or 3 part series.

What made the experience of listening to The Victim the most enjoyable?

I found the story very entertaining and loved the twists and turns. Very well done.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jake Hunter because he did not come across as being too macho and all knowing.

What about David Halliburton’s performance did you like?

All of it.

I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Much better written than I expected for a first time novel.

Myron is very predictable

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes but only if he as following the series in order

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

What never ceases to amaze me is how utterly stupid Myron always is. This is the 9th book I have read of this series and in every case you can count on Myron to:have forgotten his gun, move ahead even when his stupid moves gets others killed, never ever sense the danger until it is way too late, have Winn save his ass because Myron always screws up. It is a comedy.

All the stupid moves Myron makes. Hysterical

What did you love best about Shelter?

The characters and author were new to me and I soon became very involved in the story and the sub plots. Loved it.

What did you like best about this story?

Sort of a coming of age mystery story. Very well done.

His voices are great! Made the characters come to life.

The story had multiple sub plots all of which were interesting and added to the excitement. And there was lots of excitement.

Too many to list. I could not stop listening.

The voices were perfect! Brought the characters to life.

Amazing. Great. Exciting.
