Well, well, well… guess who just made me love an audible series more than Gunner Fox. Way to go Bobby. By book 4 of the Yellowstone series I was more than just in love with the characters and their journey, I was along for the ride. And you know where you really got me? Feral kitties, with names like mama cat and big boy. Did you look into my childhood? I need more Yellowstone follow ups please.

Another Bobby Akart winner

While not my first Akart audiobook it is the first narrative by Stacey Glemboski. I enjoyed her narration and a change of voice helps me separate the characters from other series by the same author. I throughly enjoyed New Madrid. I suspect getting lost in the lives of his characters is the highest compliment you can pay an author. You have done it again Mr. Akart! Well done.

Like falling in love with your best friends brother

This chic just finished the Gunner Fox / Odessa trilogy. This was my 3rd Bobby Akart series on audible. As much as I love Henry Sargent and the Boston Brahmin, my new found love is for Gunner Fox! Not surprised as it checks all my boxes: historical fiction, DARPA, great character development, kick ass Men AND Women. Bobby writes what I ask for in my head when I’m looking for a new series. Sometimes kind of scary how close you are to the headlines though. Thanks Bobby, for another great read!

Binge Series!

A well spent audible credit. I’m a reader/ listener of Brad Thor, Brad Meltzer and James Rollins. I binge book sets like most people with TV binge a popular series. This is my 3rd Akart series and loved having a box set to breeze thru. I will be back for more Gunner Fox!

Just finished Geostorm:the shift. Love this author and the backstory he provides for new characters I become involved with, as i settle into a new series. Are you a James Rollins reader? If so I think you will find this series and author enjoyable also.

I am a huge fan of this author and his previous series of books. Having been left hanging at the last words of the kremlin Conspiracy I could not wait to get into The Persian Gamble. This book did not disappoint and I loved every minute of it.

Well done Bobby

I just finished the Boston Brahmin series and thoroughly enjoyed the story all the way through. Growing up just minutes from where General George and his troops marched, I have a true love for history. Historical fiction is what I’m drawn to as well as end times storylines so this series was made for me. I can clearly see why my husband recommended it as my first Bobby Akart series. Sorry to say goodbye to The loyal nine.

Forget Netflix binge watch....

I am so invested in the lives of the loyal nine in False Flag, book 4 of 7. The author has written, like all great authors, in a way that allows you to read this book independently of the others in the series but you are rewarded with richness in story by having been along the journey with these characters. I find myself getting lost in the story and forgetting it’s not real life. Gotta go download book 5, The Mechanics, right now. Sarge has just been passed the baton and tensions are still rising with the neighbors outside the compound.

Looking for new historical fiction series?

I’m a fan of historical fiction from Brad Meltzer, Brad Thor and James Collins’ sigma force series. I have just finished book 3 in the Boston Brahmin series and I must say I’m hooked. I have become invested in the characters of this series and often found myself getting caught up in the action as if it was jumping off a news page. Anyone who has experienced a trip to the grocery after a natural disaster like a hurricane, knows the author is spot on with his depiction of how fast our society becomes chaotic. Check out Martial Law in the Boston Brahmin series. You will not only be entertained by the story, I bet it will give you a new outlook on prepping for the unexpected!
