Engaging story and characters!

Avery and Ryker.

You couldn't help but root for these two. Both suffered such great tragedy and put themselves in their own personal hell after losing loved ones and parts of themselves when a military mission went awry. I like how there was angst and build up between them but not too much, like they didn't fight their attraction to the point where I normally roll my eyes in other books. There are definitely twists and turns where they don't get to enjoy one another for long because they once again are faced with highly stressful and dangerous situations. I have not read the previous books and although I'm sure it would add to the story, I don't feel like I absolutely had to read them either to enjoy this one. Although after reading this one I know the other ones have to be good. Both narrators were new to me and did a great job, totally added to the story.

great book!

I loved this as a second book. Maybe even more than the first. I loved all the imperfections of the characters and dimension they had. Adding different voices and perspectives from the different characters was such a good move. I am a bleeding heart for Lawson. I hope he gets a book soon. this was primarily Finn and Casey's story as they navigate lies, deceit, and finding the truth, add in normal teenage coming of age rebellion and finding yourself. Finn struggles with telling Casey the truth, really unsure of what it really is and maintaining loyalty to a friend. Casey struggles with not knowing the truth, loving Finn, not being able to trust Finn, and breaking out of the everyone's preconceived notation of her, including herself. love the rebel life. definitely worth a listen. narration was perfect. can't wait for the story to continue. it's definitely giving hyperbolic Euphoria vibes, but that's what makes it entertaining!

this book had everything with a love story that had detail to it. You will fall in love with the hero of the story, he literally can't get any better. And the bouts of humor in the book with the potty mouthed 6ish year old so funny. The narration was perfect. 100% worth the credit.

This was absolutely great. Tears you apart and heals you all at once. Raw, real, emotions experienced by suicide loss survivors and their journey to healing and love. Definitely on the list of favorites

love the performance, the heroine was lame

The lead female was hard to like or understand, she basically throws in the towel without any preamble. for how much they are made out to love one another I just don't buy it. and Ryot just wanted to make the marriage work. I get he made mistakes but if she would have communicated it would have been a non-issue. it just was hard to believe especially since they essentially made Ryot out to be saint, albeit career driven. it was kind of irritating for him to take sole response. performance was 100%. I love Meghan Quinn and I look forward to future books with these characters. I loved the other books. The characters just weren't for me.

you will fall in love with Dallas!

I love an accidental pregnancy. I love the story of Dallas being a widow and him navigating that. I do think the expectations for where he should be emotionally after only 1 year was rather odd, but I love a love after loss story.

Great narration, likeable characters, rushed story

the narration was terrific, Will watt is a dream to listen to. however, the unbelievable and unrealistic story lines that most romance books have, didn't quite hit the mark due to the rushed nature of the book. it was just too unbelievable that this grown man allowed himself to sleep with a woman his daughter's age (her best friend), fall in love, and his daughter completely accepted this and even facilitated it , in the span of a few days. the characters themselves were very likeable and I really liked them individually but the story just didn't connect with me, even though most romances do play on the idealistic scenarios rather than reality, which I normally enjoy, I feel like the story could have benefited from slightly more conflict or at least moral quandary.

Funny not so meet cute

This was really well written with really funny moments as these two try to navigate a lie about being engaged and pregnant. Some classic romance characters, a billionaire stand offish man with secret altruism, and a down on her luck but extremely talented woman, both can benefit one another. The writing and jokes set it apart and the narration was perfect.

The guy we all wish for. LONG

This is the ultimate romantic story. Noah is every girl's dream and has the patience of a saint. Adrianna loves Chase, Chase loves her but is too chicken to admit it because of her brother, which at a certain point feels completely ridiculous but, plot points, anyway Adrianna meets Noah and cue the push, pull, indecision of teenage love. just when you think it's over, plot twist, tragedy strikes and they have to fall in love all over again. Overall I enjoyed this book, it wasn't my favorite from Meagan Brandy and I thought some parts were dragged out, but you can't help but fall in love with Noah and Arianna. I even felt bad for Chase!

I loved this!! Perfect teen romance/mystery/drama

This was the perfect high school bully, menage-ish, enemies to lovers, suspense romance!!
Scarlett was born into an elite society with other members of lawless, Crue, Jagger, Neo and his twin Maddie. Neo is jealous of Scar and Maddie's friendship, likely because his father is awful and all he has is his sister. Maddie loves Crue, Crue loves Scarlett, Forbidden crush ensues. When tragedy strikes, Scarlett and Crue move to a forbidden romance until the rest of the gang finds out. Neo has a big unwarranted grudge and gets the rest on his side, breaking Scars heart and her life as much as they can. Finally she is at their school and has to prove herself to the school and to them. Drama ensues, attempted life ruining, and a mystery stalker who wants Scarlett taken down even more than Neo. They are left in this weird in- between of protection, torment, love, and hate. Ends on a cliff hanger waiting to see who the mystery hater is. Book has all the angst and hyperbolic teen drama you could ask for. I enjoyed the ride it took me on and can't wait to see what the next books gives me.
