Historia
Jesus commands us to love our neighbors. So why are so many Christians taught to fear their neighbors? The American church is known as a people who are afraid, who have been nurtured through fear into hatred, and who have moved from hatred to violence - or at least to neglect. This fear, too often lived out boldly in the name of Jesus, is a false religion.

Bullseye!
Revisado: 02-10-24
Oof. I wouldn't do it justice by trying to summarize it somehow, so I'll just say this: This one needs to work its way through the whole batch of dough!

Historia
For generations, nobles have gathered at a scenic estate once per year to compete. What transpires there is spoken of only in rumors, save for the prizes. Potent, powerful, and precious; the winners are said to receive a gift from magic itself. Reeling after their loss to Kalzidar, the adventurers from Maplebark can only press forward, following advice imparted by the gods. Their divine directions will lead them on a series of twisting paths, branching between old friends and new challenges, before ultimately pointing at a particular estate on a specific evening.

My New Hated Word
Revisado: 10-14-22
This may be the best of the series so far! Thanks to Mr. Hayes, however, I believe I am beginning to genuinely hate the word..."epilogue." ;D

Historia
In Prototype, Jonathan Martin creates a vivid understanding of what it means to be God's beloved. To completely trust, as Jesus did, that God loves us. To live without fear, confident in our identity and purpose. To handle life's wounds as Jesus did, and to wake every day with a deep awareness of God's presence. Martin reveals a startling truth at the heart of the gospel: Jesus is our prototype. And as we discover how the knowledge of being God's beloved changed everything for Jesus - how it set Him free to live out His purpose and love God, others, and the world - it will begin to do the same for us.

Two Books In One
Revisado: 04-01-22
It's like two different books. The first is an excellent exploration of how much God loves you, but then all of a sudden it becomes a fluffy word soup concoction of and about experiences.

May Want To Read Instead
Revisado: 11-21-13
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The reader and editing
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Most: Merrit (sp?)
Least: Lothain
Would you be willing to try another one of Kellie Fitzgerald’s performances?
No
Was The First Confessor worth the listening time?
Not really
Any additional comments?
The story is fine, but the reader sounds like a GPS "robot" and I don't think there *was* any editing. It was hard to get through.
