Historia
Many times in life we get discouraged because people just don’t seem to understand what we’re trying to do or where we’re trying to go, but the thing to understand is that it’s not their promise. The promise is ours. We can’t expect everyone to see our vision because it wasn’t given to them. It wasn’t earned by them. It wasn’t cried for by them. They weren’t beaten for it. They weren’t bruised for it. They’re not built for what God has promised you. The promise is yours.

Historia
How would you feel if the person you had given your all to, left your life for and served faithfully, simply abandoned you? Would you be hurt? Would you be angry? Would you be confused? Or maybe even feel betrayed? Would you question whether you knew this person at all? Would you ask yourself, "Did I know him? Did he truly love me? Was he really who I thought he was?" And your answer may be, "I never knew him at all." This book observes the betrayal of Peter from a different perspective while also paralleling it with modern day relationships.

Extremely Insightful
Revisado: 09-13-21
This was a great book that focused on how to deal with the hurt or disappointment that can be caused by others. Some relationships are meant to last and others are temporary but this book helps with navigating both and the in between. It also helps with managing expectations of others to avoid disappointment while using the relationship between Jesus and Peter as a reference. This is a great book to help those dealing with a breakup, divorce, fight, or any conflicting relationship between two people. Definitely recommend!

Faith is what faith does. If you don't believe it, you won't achieve it, but if you're willing to go out on a limb and think differently, believe differently, and perhaps act just a little bit differently, your faith will start to activate miracles in your life and you'll begin to receive differently. Believe differently, receive differently.

This book is a great book about faith. As Christians faith is a constant battle that is dealt with internally and externally. However, this book provides great insight on the importance of faith, how to go after your blessings by applying unconventional faith, and how to implement work into faith. As well as its purpose and benefits. This is an amazing book regardless of the level of
faith or time of devotion someone has to Christianity, much can be learned from this book.

If you’ve ever tried to squeeze into pants that are too little or a shirt that no longer fits, then you can understand what author Ron Walker means when he says, “It’s time to let go of some things that no longer fit us. Just as we outgrow clothes, we also outgrow habits, beliefs, and people”. If you’re ready to grow past your past and build a better future, you will benefit from I’m Changing, by Ron Walker.

This book is a must read for everyone! The points made in this book can be helpful to anyone regardless of background and upbringing. It really helps people to focus on effective change internally while changing their environment and letting go of negative habits, thoughts, reactions, environments, and people. I really enjoyed this book and it could be read or listened to everyday as a motivational tool to do better for yourself and to stop letting yourself and others hold you back. Loved it !!!!

Being Black in America is not an easy task. Black people in America are faced with the task of surviving in a system predicated on the notion that Black people were less than human, policed and enforced by a system that is rooted in slavery and racism. All while trying to succeed in a capitalist society where we are discriminated against.

Quick Listen Great Read !

This book touches the societal issues of today as well as in the past, in such an eloquent way. The author provided a plethora of historical information and context. The book is broken down in a format for anyone to understand. I appreciate how the book was fact based and research driven and not just another rant. I also appreciated that solutions were suggested and problems weren't just being presented. I would greatly suggest this book for everyone especially youth who lack historical knowledge of black history and its relation to government from slavery until now.
