Having read a couple of the other books in the Sewing in SoCal series, I knew I'd enjoy Betsy's story. I was not disappointed. Another fun rom-com by Sarah Monzon. The characters are relatable and realistic. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Betsy and Asher grow into a romance. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook. Stevi Incremona did a great job narrating the book which made for an enjoyable listening experience. The opinions are my own.

Time travel stories are one of my favorite and For the Love of Liberty did not disappoint. Although part of a series, I found it easily read as a stand-alone book. Engaging characters, American Revolution setting, romance and faith-based standards were well woven together to make this story hard to put down (or stop the recording as I listened to the audiobook). Readers who enjoy time travel romance will not want to miss this book. I need to go back and read the others in the Timeless Love series! I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a positive review. Leonor A Woodworth did a great job bringing Liberty and Martin's story to life. The opinions are my own.

I enjoy reading mystery stories with private investigators as a main character and this Mylas Grey book kept my interest from start to finish. With well-developed characters, a story line that is action-packed, strong spiritual truths, a lot of suspense, and a touch of romance and, voilá, Seven Days Off is an excellent story. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to give a positive review. The opinions are my own. Steve Twitchell did a great job narrating the story, bringing to life Mylas Grey's post-gunshot week off work.

Having read several of The Advocate Series, I was excited to read the 13th in the series. (I really need to go back and read the ones I've missed!) The author, Teresa Burrell, knows how to keep a reader's interest. With a missing child, another child who may be a victim of Munchausen syndrome, Child Advocate, Sabre, has her hands full and now has amnesia regarding a murder in which she may be a suspect. The pages practically turned themselves. The main characters are relatable and likable and the bad guys are definitely despicable. The story moved quickly and the author brings satisfactory closure to the several situations in the book. For readers who enjoy female sleuth mysteries, the Advocate series is a must-read. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own. The narrator, John Bell, does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life in this book.

Finding Frankie, the second book in Teresa Burrell's Tuper Mystery series, is another engaging story of Tuper and Lana, his helpful computer whiz. I enjoy reading about this investigative duo. Their investigation into a hit-and-run incident leads them to a decades-old mystery. There are lots of leads and twists that keep the reader guessing. Burrell is skilled at weaving a mystery that readers will find a hard time putting down. I'm looking forward to continuing the series. I was given a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a positive review. John Bell does a great job narrating the story which makes for an entertaining listening experience.

I enjoyed this first-in-a-series story about "a crusty cowboy investigator who solves cases using his own set of rules." I loved that Tuper always seemed to 'know a guy' to help him in his investigations. As he begins the search for a young boy, he pairs up with a computer geek and their developing, sometimes humorous, relationship helps keep interest high. The author is adept at keeping the reader guessing with lots of leads and twists and turns in the plot. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series. I was given a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a positive review. John Bell does a great job narrating the story which makes for an entertaining listening experience.

Heather Blanton is one of my go-to authors for Western Romance stories and with Hang Your Heart on Christmas she did not disappoint. The characters not only have strengths but realistic flaws too. I liked how they worked through their struggles and were strengthened by friendships and a growing faith in God. A small town setting is always a favorite of mine with people who know everything about everyone and charming contests, etc. Mystery, adventure, and a sweet romance always make for an enjoyable story. The book is part of a series, Brides of Evergreen, and I look forward to reading the next story. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a positive review. The opinions are my own. Meghan Kelly narrated the book and did a great job telling Dent and Amy's stories

Karen Musser Nortman does it again with another Frannie Shoemaker story. Mask of Death kept my interest throughout the story. Readers usually find Frannie front and center in the middle of a mystery and this book finds her in the midst of trouble. As campground managers, she and her husband find themselves with a missing woman, terrible weather, dealing with Covid restrictions, and having to take care of the grandkids too. Whew, several twists to the plot and the story just flies by. Readers who enjoy cozy mysteries and camping stories will not want to miss this one. Michelle Babb does a good job narrating the story which makes for an enjoyable listening experience. I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.

Grace be a Lady is a captivating Western Romance by an author who does this genre well. Heather Blanton brings to life the struggles of people who lived in Wyoming in the 1800s. Banished by her brutish husband to Misery, Wyoming, readers meet Grace, trying to figure out how to earn money to get back to Chicago and her son. Blanton has a nice style of writing and kept my interest throughout the entire book. I was hooked from the beginning as the action starts right up and continues through the story, always keeping the reader wondering how in the world will things work out now. The characters are realistic, vibrant, and relatable. Lots of action scenes and unexpected twists to the plot kept the pages turning quickly. Grace be a Lady is an entertaining tale of faith, courage, and love. Lovers of Western romance will not want to miss this series.
I listened to a complimentary copy of the book and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own. Talmadge Ragan did a great job narrating Grace's story which made for an engaging listening experience.

Having read a number of Teresa Burrell's books, I was eager to read The Advocate's Phantom. The book did not disappoint. Attorney Sabre and her investigator, JP, are on a daunting mission to clear a young client's name. A decades old murder and present time murder seem to be linked and the mystery deepens! The twists and turns to the story keep the pages turning.
I listened to a gift copy of the audiobook. The narrator, John Bell, did a great job giving voice to the story. I was not required to write a review and the opinions are my own. Readers who enjoy legal thrillers will not want to miss this one.
