29 Stephanie Plum books later I’m still a huge fan. This last one was especially entertaining because Stephanie seems to have stepped into her groove as a bounty hunter and doesn’t seem to screw up most of her FTA takedowns.As always the narrator L. King knocks it out of the park with the characters.This series coupled w/the narrator is my top choice in the comedy genre area. Hopefully we won’t need to wait so long for #30 as we did for #29 although it was def worth the wait!

Fabulous as always!!

Great story line with Patterson’s usual twist at the end. I will say that I wished the narrator could have put more effort into the different characters to help the listeners differentiate between them as a way to see them in our imaginations as they seem to do in his Alex Cross series.Shamus & Mary Catherine’s character is well covered but I feel it’s time to build on the children’s personalities.

Weird ending

I enjoyed the entirety of the book and the narration but it was just a weird ending to me. Seems it was cut short leaving one of the book’s biggest mystery unsolved

Very Informative

The narrative to this real time unfolding case out of low country South Carolina does a great job in telling the story of a double murder that almost daily results in evidence that uncovers the decades of deceit, theft, murder, corruption & overreach of a family that has built a legal dynasty in that community over the span of more than 100 years.

A few Suggestions….

This book is a classic John Grisham story excellent as always and intriguing. The downside is the narration is almost unbearable but I took a another reviewer‘s suggestion and set the reading on 1.4 times the regular near ration and the story went much smoother. Overall I’m pleased W/purchase

Informative!!

This podcasts is more about Jeffrey Epstein than Giselle but I found it very informative anyhow. From past readings on this subject I agree with most of the author states. I do question the connection that Vicky trues to tie Epstein to international arms deals & our government. I believe he was a con man who got lucky in the beginning by blackmailing rich and powerful men and in turn those people offered a bigger fish for their reputation. They kept quite and agreed because they knew he had proof. I believe once a very disgusted & pissed soon to be ex-wife gets a her ducks in a row and feels confident her family will be well protected from the damage will come clean about what her husband confessed to her when he knew him and the other creeps activities were gonna be revealed. Look at the timing, secretive generous settlement, transfer of wealth so his loved ones will be cared for! Hope she speaks before another suicide though

My Patriotism has been Awakened!!

As a devoted Patterson fan I has put off this book because of silly political leanings. I was gifted the authors second collaboration the Presidents daughter is missing and I was beyond pleased so I followed up with this one. The President is missing is a great way to wake up our Patriotism and the story in self is fast moving the entire 12 hours while also being very detailed. Can’t wait for the next collaboration guys.

Fact based, suspenseful all the way through. One of my favorite Patterson books to date. Looking forward to reading the first collaboration with Bill Clinton.
