Thriller Lovers & Dog Lovers UNITE!

Suspenseful

The story is very engaging right from the beginning, especially the action/crime related portions. It’s romantic, too. My only real issue was that some of the actual dialogue between a couple of characters was a little over the top on occasion. Narrator had broad range of voices without being too distracting and that was impressive.

Great Narration

The writing and performance were good- drawing you in chapter by chapter. I think I was expecting something slightly different story wise- a bit darker. At times it actually made me laugh... It’s written from Joe’s perspective. At first his language/cadence was a little jarring but then you begin to settle in with him...and all his thoughts, feelings and plans. There’s a LOT going on in his head.

Great for Next Level Healing

I’ve read many popular books on NPD and BPD over the years -recognizing the signs of, the behaviors and the damage it can do to friends/loved ones, etc. This book is excellent and goes so much further into how you can begin to create healthy boundaries and honestly assess the damage done. I felt really empowered by this book to delve into a healing process as I am (due to familial obligations) unable to go “no contact” ... this book is a game changer and will help you make major changes, albeit one small step at a time, to disentangle emotionally from truly toxic people. If you feel emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed by a toxic relationship this is a MUST READ.

Fascinating & Horrifying

Definitely eye-opening ...Considering this type of EMP detonation is a possibility. I feel better prepared on how a community can cope psychologically as well as physically survive a massive long term power outage.
