His adventure sets off in Lilliput, when after a shipwreck, he wakes up, finding himself a prisoner of a race of people one twelfth the size of normal human beings. However, his adventure among the small people does not last long, when he has to escape the city as he is charged with treason.

Extremely abridged version
Revisado: 01-23-19
Competent performance but this version is so highly abridged that most of the book is absent. Notice the hours: 2 hours plus for this version most other versions 11 to 9 hours.

Production problems

What did you love best about Colonel Sun?
You can't go wrong with Kingsley Amis and Simon Vance's reading was flawless. However, entire passages were repeated as if (mind you I say "as if") it were a record skipping a groove. Jarring. At least four instances that I noticed. Otherwise an excellent story. I know that I will listen to this again.

Loved the book but strictly for the nerd crowd.
Revisado: 12-28-15
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
In the World of fandom Felicia Day is a goddess. But in the non-nerd world not so much, so the average listener may want to take the book in small doses.
However, I loved the book. A fascinating and funny tale of geek-girl-gamer who has had an amazingly involved life for such a young person. (Thirty-something as of review)
Recommended if you're a fanboy or a fangirl or for your nerd son/daughter/friend/spouse/partner or your bewildered parent who doesn't understand why you're 'so weird'.
HIGHLY recommended if your a Felicia Day fan.
