A new interpretation of the original story. I bought this as a collector, but discovered the more descriptive aspects of this version, and am so excited for the whole series. I had read reviews that this edition with Stephen Fry narrating is a must have, and am now firmly a believer!

If you enjoy Kristen Painter's books, then you will be impressed with this series. The narrator nails it. You can easily determine each characters individually. The work put into bringing this series to life is nothing short of amazing.

Loved the book, and the audiobook. Richard Ferrone just nails it each and every time. If you enjoy reading this series, wait until you listen to them. Just an all around great experience from book one to thirty!

A must for Harry Potter fans

As someone who has thoroughly enjoyed watching the movies umpteen million times and read and reread the books almost as much, this series on Audible has to be heard.
The narrator chosen for this series had me wondering in the beginning, but he masters the characters and his vocal portrayal of them is downright amazing. He done an excellent job with it all.
I have reviewed the last book only in detail, because I want to go back, watch the movies, read the books and listen to the audio version.
As I said in the title, all true fans of Harry Potter has to add these audiobooks to their collection.
As far as the story, and all... Thank you to J.K. Rowling and all of the actors who portrayed our beloved characters, and Jim Dale for adding his voice to the audio versions.

This story has so many different facets, that it is like a diamond in a sense. Just to name a few... The love story of Eragon and Saphira. Their relationship from the start, and how it grows is simply amazing. Roran and Katrina. The devotion these two show each other is incredible and inspiring. The story of the Varden, with all of their struggles with tyranny, political infighting, even King Orrins' outrageous jealousy of Nasuada and the struggles of bringing the separate races together to fight a common enemy. I could go on and on about the different things I enjoyed in these books. But in the end, they are simply something you should experience for yourself.

As a fan of the entire Prey series, of course my enjoying these audio book selections just adds more to the series for me. If you are a fan, and drive as much as I do, then these books are a must, you can't go wrong.
