Laughable story and not in a pleasant way!
Revisado: 04-30-25
Horrible story, for this story to make sense you have to pretend that common sense doesn’t exist as well as technology/cameras! You have to believe that the killers is the smartest person as well as the o my one to have access to technology…then this story is just lame instead of horrible!!! Oh also why the audio mixing and acting have the narrator screaming and talking loudly AT everyone instead of to everyone is annoying!

A barely employed tech worker has never felt they belonged. Not in society, not even in their own family. Their days are filled with loneliness, a struggle to survive and a desperate search for connection—even if that connection is merely virtual. Now, a black-market hacker promises to open a new world for them, and it works—in ways no human has ever experienced. They find a world of wonder, of possibilities and of danger—where their new virtual reality could mean the end of their physical reality. And what they discover could change the fate of humankind—forever.

Nothing new!!
Revisado: 03-29-25
This book is a exact copy of the rest, new secret base, new villain, team goes there, standoff with villain, find survivors, beat the villain (villain gives them trouble even though they have no military training or experience fighting), team does just enough to win, survivors stay at new secret base.
I fast forward to the last 2 mins of each chapter after a while cause I could predict what was gonna happen and could get all the info I needed in those last 2 mins.
Come on man!

Lost sight with this one!
Revisado: 03-29-25
Well if you’ve read or listened to this series then you know the dance, it’s the same for every one. Except this one the author completely loses sight and completely fumbles the secret survivor base….its almost an after thought. Then in the next book completely goes overboard with the secret base and its codes and layout. Plus he’s completely left the original character out now. It’s almost as he is writing this series in hopes that it will become a Walking Dead on tv type hit!

Weak Story…even weaker performance!!!!
Revisado: 08-22-24
In order for the story’s inaccuracies and delusions to lot bother you….you have to be grade school. The only thing that is more atrocious than the story is Ritter’s performance!
Cringeworthy scenes from Ritter is what you can count on, her performance along with the dialogue is embarrassing at best!

Predictable corny love story!
Revisado: 07-31-24
Title says it all, there are portions of this book that are great! Then there are portions that should have never been I clicked in the book. It’s hard to feel anything for a rich spoil brat who is selfish and makes everything about herself. You can pretty much figure out how the story is gonna go early on in the book and it becomes repetitive!

Not great…but not bad either. If you don’t have anything else to listen to, I’d give it a shot but the rating on this it’s hugely inflated for the actual content and quality of the story.

Tired…everything about this is tired!
Revisado: 05-15-24
Tired!!! This is your basic graphic romance novel that tries to be edgy, just insert names and descriptive cuss words and it’s a carbon copy or every other book trying to shock and awe the reader. Nothing unique about this…
TIRED!
