Historia
So many of us today feel like we’re merely existing instead of thriving - and that’s where a purpose-oriented mind-set comes in. Living with purpose means using your gifts, in keeping with your values, to make a positive impact on the lives of others. But it’s not easy. Half the work of cultivating greater purpose in life involves facing personal and profound questions. What matters most to me? What do I value in other people, and why? What positive change do I want to see in the world?

My arrival in Aradia set off a series of unexplainable events - the veil breaking down, ghosts arriving by the shipload, and Aurick becoming...beautiful? I didn't know it was a best seller, I chose this book by the title and really enjoyed it. This book is well written and narrated. The author shows his passion for the subject and his goal to help others. I love that he also throws some short stories to illustrate how he would feel if a specific situation would be happening to him at that moment. I really recommend it. It is a great find!

Really interesting and memorable
Revisado: 02-27-23
This book is very clear, easy to make lots of connections IRL. I loved every ideas and suggestion. I do understand there is an ethical part of it that entitles it's own set of books.
By being aware of these nudges I feel I can get a bit better on my critical thinking ability and feel like I am acting because I want too, not JUST because I was nudged.
Narrator was fun and has a pleasant tone.
Overall this audible is great!

You Are Now Less Dumb is grounded in the idea that we all believe ourselves to be objective observers of reality - except we’re not. But that's okay, because our delusions keep us sane. Expanding on this premise, McRaney provides eye-opening analyses of 15 more ways we fool ourselves every day. This smart and highly entertaining audiobook will be wowing listeners for years to come.

Historia
Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on 12 years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage. Brown explains how vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity.
