Historia
For long years, the White Scars have fought for the Imperium, bringing worlds to compliance. But when a new project, to embed psykers in the Space Marine Legions, seems likely to come to fruition, Jaghatai Khan must decide if he will comply...Listen to it because Chris Wraight returns to the Khan of Khans with a tale set at the height of the Great Crusade and showing the momentous decisions that, in some ways, led to the darkest events of the Horus Heresy.

4th best White Scars book
Revisado: 07-18-22
While still one of the better primarch books, it lags behind the excellent Scars and Path of Heaven.
Still, it does a great job (as all Chris Wright Wraight Scars books) of telling the story of the Scars, and how they’re different from their brothers.
Absolutely would recommend for any and all White Scars fans.

Better than the first Bile book
Revisado: 07-01-22
While potentially better than the first of the Bile trilogy, the only complaint I have is a few of the voices are too similar to each other. Other than that it is an excellent book with excellent voice acting. John Banks’ harlequin voice is god tier.
10/10 for all 40K lovers, Emperors Children fans, and Chaos devotees.

Historia
Exile to the miserable world of Sedh, the disgraced Necron Lord Oltyx is consumed with bitterness. Once heir to the throne of a dynasty, he now commands nothing but a dwindling garrison of warriors, in a never-ending struggle against Ork invaders. Oltyx can think of nothing but the prospect of vengeance against his betrayers, and the reclamation of his birthright. But the Orks are merely the harbingers of a truly unstoppable force. Unless Oltyx acts to save his dynasty, revenge will win him only ashes.

Best Necron book since infinite and the divine
Revisado: 12-16-21
Great narration, great story. A must if you like necrons; although a much more serious time than the Infinite and the Divine.
