Heart for others
Revisado: 07-30-24
His heart for others and “myself” is very real. Not only is he vulnerable and believable but genuine in his love for Christ.

Historia
We can not raise a happy child if we are constantly screaming threats at them. No parent sets out to hurt their child, but this type of parenting does just that. To raise a happy child that wants to behave, you need to retrain yourself first. You need to change the way you think and react to their behavior. You need to understand your triggers and heal yourself. Only then you can begin to heal your relationship with your children.

Common sense views and values!!!!
Revisado: 07-08-24
I appreciated the emphasis on apologizing to your children when you discovered you were wrong. Communication and the importance of family conversation, limiting device usage and table manors regarding phones! Teaching parental values and simple money management. Staying involved in aspects of the child’s life and making time for family activities!
Asking questions of children and allowing them to share their feelings without reproach but with guidance and respect. Sharing dangers they may encounter with social media sites and other areas in their life. Building a trusting relationship with teens and answering tough questions truthfully. Asking questions of those you trust is a strength not a weakness!!!!
