Aweful
Revisado: 04-28-25
WORST book in the series so far. Books 1 through 9 were awesome. books 10 and 11 were OK but were saved by good villains. Nathaniel is by far the worst character in the entire series and she spent so much time on him that it ruins the book. There is no story whatsoever worth reading. The only reason I finished this book is because of the first novels and I am invested in the characters from those books with the exception of Nathaniel which again is the worst character she has ever written. The character of Anita Blake is unrecognizable throughout the entire novel.

Not Good
Revisado: 08-17-24
not a bad universe, but the main character is a horrible person and is very stupid so it makes me not root for her to be victorious.

Good story, but bad narration

The guy that reads the book really takes away from the story, but the story is solid, even given some of the shortcomings with the narration on the technology

Wheel is good, but not great
Revisado: 12-02-23
not a big fan of the story, but what really bothered me was Wheaton mispronouncing words from Tolkien’s world and it really ruined it, and kept me from enjoying the story.

Historia
Private first-class Wayson Harris was raised in a U.A. orphanage among thousands of clones born and bred as the ultimate soldiers. But Harris isn't like the other Marines: He has a mind of his own. He figures he's paying for that independent streak when his first assignment out of boot camp is the smallest Marine outpost in the whole U.A. When a rogue general surfaces, the remote desert world Harris thought was a dead-end posting becomes anything but. Fighting off the general's raid gains Harris a promotion. But it also brings him to the attention of some unfriendly U.A. leaders.

Story was great and the performance was awesome. I’m looking forward to hearing what happens in the next book. I can see myself listening to this book again.

Historia
In this second volume of the Gorean Series, Tarl Cabot finds himself transported back to Counter-Earth from the sedate life he has known as a history professor on Earth. Tarl finds that his name on Gor has been tainted, his city defiled, and all those he loves have been made into outcasts. He is no longer in the position of a proud warrior, but an outlaw for whom the simplest answers must come at a high price. He wonders why the Priest Kings have called him back to Gor, and whether it is only to render him powerless.

One of the best in the series. The divide between the human man and supernatural characters is done very well.
