I have very much enjoyed this series and while this story was entertaining it felt forced, like the author was just done writing about Sandman Slim and wanted it done. I honestly expected better for the conclusion to this epic story. but I guess in the end, that is what Stark would have wanted.

Epic and heartbreaking

I was underwhelmed by Peace Talks, it didn't seem to fit the story flow that Dresden usually follows. Turns out that was just the preface for the epic story that is Battleground. This story was enthralling and mesmerizing and horrible and amazing in so many different ways. I cannot wait for the next story, hopefully it won't take half a decade again.

Good Story, a little rough but very fun

I very much enjoyed this book and am looking forward for the sequel audiobook to be released.
fast paced and fun, the globe trotting teens unravel a mystery of the ages. while some of the story does strain believability, at the end of the day its a wonderfully fun story that was every bit worth the credit.

I have loved this series for years and was super happy when this book was announced. The story was good but it honestly just feels like Butcher has quit caring about it. he is just trying to get it to an ending one way or another. I still love all the characters and the series will always be one of my all time favorites but I just think that Butcher needs to find his Muse for this world again so the world can get some life pumped back into it.
