Historia
In the first half of the 20th century, Amon G. Carter Sr. was a Texas powerhouse...Flashy, often impulsive and with only an eighth-grade education, he lured a trillion dollars' worth of business to his beloved state. He worked to improve living conditions for everyone. In this new audiobook, a companion to the new theatrical production of the same name, Carter tells how he built one of the great media empires of the land - and what he did with it. This historically-accurate fun and funny audiobook tells the real stories behind the legend.

Enjoyed the wicked humor, the beautiful story telling using time travel to recreate key moments, and the excellent narration. Time well spent.

Intriguing though incomplete

Fascinating to hear about examples of these cultures. Seem to be US centric which is surprising since other cultures also will have shining examples. Last 3rd of the book (how to tips) is a bit dry. Wish he’d spent more time on how to create these cultures and provided more examples of how low performing cultures turn into high performing ones.

Couldn’t stop listening
Revisado: 03-11-20
One of the best books I’ve listened to. Very well written. Describes the war in a visceral way as experienced on the brutal Eastern front by a 17 year old soldier in the German infantry. Beautifully performed by the narrator. Couldn’t stop listening once I started and completed in record time. Moving, gripping, haunting and fast paced. Above all, it helped me better appreciate the peace and safety in my life and recognize the trifling nature of my own troubles in comparison to what such soldiers had to endure for so long.
