Historia
Spring, 1921. Lady Eleanor Swift, explorer extraordinaire and accidental sleuth, hasn’t had a vacation since she arrived in England a year ago. So she books into the Grand Hotel in the fashionable resort of Brighton for some fresh air, fish and chips, and, of course, a dip in the ocean. Eleanor is enjoying her view of the waves and trying to find her bathing suit when calamity strikes: A guest has been found dead at her beautiful hotel. The distraught manager, who can’t afford a scandal, asks Eleanor to solve the case as swiftly as possible.

Best Mystery Series!!
Revisado: 02-21-24
I LOVE these audio books. This series meets the original definition of "cozy mystery." It appears that many people don't understand the definition of "clean" (cozy) mystery books. If you like true cozy mysteries, I encourage you to try this series. I loved them so much that when I got through the series the first time, I immediately starting listening to them again.
The narrator is fantastic. She enhances the story by the way she narrates it. The stories have a great balance between intense and light, but they aren't foolish.
I love Lady Swift and Clifford, and the rest of her staff. Her butler, Clifford, is more like her mentor.
And, of course, I love the mysteries. Sometimes I guess "who dunnit," but more often I don't guess. Personally, I can't think of a way these books could be improved.

Historia
Winter, 1933. Kitty Underhay is enjoying a restorative break from sleuthing on a visit to her family at Enderley Hall. The only thing marring her peace - aside from the uncomfortable sensation she has of being watched - is the obvious history between her beau, ex-army captain Matthew Bryant and another guest, the beautiful Juliet Vanderstafen. So, when the parish clerk is found dead on her front doorstep, Kitty leaps at the chance of distraction.

Historia
Everyone gets the same amount of time in a day, yet it can feel harder for you to manage your time than most people. This difficulty is not an uncommon occurrence; many women feel this daily. From waking up and rushing to work and then coming home to clean up around the house and cook for your family, you likely have a lot on your plate. When you don't know how to manage your time, fitting all of these tasks in a day seems impossible and stressful.

i loved this book!
Revisado: 04-20-21
I love this book! I don't need a new technique. I want to understand what holds me back from doing what I know I need to do. This is one of the few books that I've read that does that. I really enjoyed the chapters on establishing new habits and routines, and understanding why I procrastinate and what I can do to overcomi loe the tendancy to put off what I need to do. I've read many books on establishing new habits and routines, but I get lost or bored in the details. This book helped me decide what habits I need to work on. My own ideas came to me as I listened. I love it when inspiration comes because of what I've read, rather than trying to implement someone else's technique.
