Sometime we don’t realize we need that little extra in our life until it’s given. My friends mom gave her this book as a gift. She then passed it along to her friends as a gift. It’s a wonderful eye-opening devotional with stories of real life with every chapter. I hope you find your something extra! Your worth it!!

The person speaking is very monotone. There is no expression. She is not telling you how to speak to or deal with a narcissistic parent. She is telling you the traits and what you may expect. Not a good book.

The book opened my eyes to my unawareness I give. I am not always present, I don't say what I want and I walk on eggshells. I give to those who need it or don't need it because I feel it is the right thing to do.
I need to show up more, give and look those people in the eye wholeheartedly. I need to say what I feel without destroying someone's feelings or self-esteem.
