Wonderfully told story!

I read this book several years ago after reading 'The Goose Girl' , another book by Shannon Hale. I purchased this audio version for a long trip by car and wanted something I knew I would love. I was not disappointed. It was as good as the first time that I read it! The actors played the parts very well! Thank you for making my long trip alone so enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

Really a wonderful read for young and old alike!

The narration is wonderful by John Lithgow! He puts into words, eloquently I might add, the spectical that has been our American politics these last few years. After each poem is read John Lithgow also states the historical facts that each one is based on. It is astounding, to me, after going through this condensed compilation of recent political events in our country, how scary Donald Trump's "reign" truly was and how relieved I am to have him gone. My hope, that America will take our democracy less for granted. Thank you John Lithgow!
