Historia
It was supposed to be fun. A relaxing trip to a remote mountain retreat where there’s no phone reception. Three couples, friends since high school, are looking forward to a weekend of drinking, reminiscing and flirting. When someone suggests swapping partners, it doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. The lights will be switched off, for privacy. It’s not really cheating if you don’t know who you were with, right? But when the lights come back on, one of the men is dead. No-one can agree who was in which bedroom with whom.

A must for any murder mystery fan

The book is wonderful. It had so many twists and turns. The little breadcrumbs of clues were everywhere when you reflect back on what you heard after all is revealed. The characters were wonderfully detailed. It portrayed young-ish adulthood so well. Human complexities as we age seem so unnecessary when looking into the relationships of others. The Ozzie accents were refreshing and the sometimes colloquial language perfect. 10/10 listen.

Historia
Behind Paris Hilton’s meteoric rise from Upper West Side club kid to household name lies her self-proclaimed 'superpower' of ADHD and a hidden history that traumatized and defined her. Shocking, funny and surprisingly profound, Paris is the deeply personal memoir of the ultimate It Girl and a stunning inside view of a pop culture phenomenon.

don't bother
Revisado: 04-12-23
The characters are vapid, and the story is weak. The performance is so bad. if I didn't have an incurable need to finish series books, I wouldn't have wasted my time. this credit is on me. omg may this be the end of the series.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

liberating
Revisado: 12-13-22
I appreciate the honesty of the author. The journey she is on to help her deal with her childhood and how it got her to where she is today. parents are people and every person is flawed I some way. It's really clear how those flaws are imposed on a vulnerable child and the massive ramifications that it has. This book and more like them need to exist in this world.
