Bishop is superbly written. The storyline is fantastically believable. So many stories with alien invasions are repeats of other stories. This story is an original to me. The humor is great. Written like a normal everyday conversation. Thank you for writing this and sharing it. 👏👏👏👏🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

I don’t like the flashbacks.. I would have enjoyed it more if the story started with the woman being chased. Show him Battle deciding what to do.. Then flashback to the beginning and work the story back to the woman being chased.

Mr Thorne is a good narrator. Each character has a distinct voice. Mr Thorne does put emotion into each situation but more would help with the character. Ruler is a renegade but he sounds like regular guy who goes to work and gets into trouble on occasion. No real grit in his voice.

A bit boring

20 mins in and the story didn’t catch me. The narrator was ok but I didn’t hear enough emotion to create the panic or the anxiety the writer was trying to create. 20 mins and I won’t continue any time soon. I’ll keep it and maybe I’ll be ready to try again later.

It’s a great storyline

But the first part of this book was boring. At chapter 10 I skipped to the last chapter. I’m sure there are important details but the story flows so well I don’t think I’m missing anything.

Good boring not consistent

The storyline started out interesting. Then when things started to happen I began to dislike the main character. Stubborn is one thing. Denial is next. But to refusing to listen is just stupid. Then when things got really weird and choosing to be ignorant is whole other level. Then physical seeing the world is not the same and refusing still holding to ones “ beliefs “ is just stupid. I want to stop when I had 6 hours left but I want to know how it ends. I have 3 hours left and I might just stop. The power is out but the elevator works ?!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This is the first book that has a good transition between scenes.

When Alex is handcuffed to the bed, the Lord guy is approaching her when there’s an explosion outside. The next scene is her friends/family setting up and going into get her. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Almost every book I read has the setup right before something traumatic is about to happen a character. Then the scene goes to the character leading up to the explosion. It’s not exciting because we already know the character is about to be saved. No suspense.
Having Alex in a bad situation without knowing where the others were helped make the explosion dramatic.

A great series

Mr Armen Taylor is absolutely terrific. The voice he uses for the computer settings is great ! I love that he voices each character as if he is actually there. So many narrators just read without any expression. Mr Taylor understood the assignment ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤙🏽
