I was not prepared for how much I loved this book! I was unsure about the narrators' accents at first, but they quickly grew on me. If you're on the fence and like sci-fi, definitely give this one a chance.

The narrator is honestly incredible, I was able to fully immerse myself and forget that only one person was voicing all of the characters and the narration. I love the fantasy world created in this new series and honestly can't wait for more.

fairly predictable, but still enjoyable

It's a pretty typical tale if you're a fan of stories in this genre. A female lead everyone is completely obsessed with for no discernable reason who just gets endless praise and can do everything perfectly. A sexy male lead who is oh so mysterious and possessive. It was definitely entertaining though, and I'll likely read the rest of the series.
